Tenuta Antica Cavalleria and swimming pool e pool bar

A beautiful authentic farmhouse dating back to the 18th century that has recently been restored, keeping the original features of the house and the wine press and restoring the old wall that surrounds the well of fresh spring water and incorporating a gazebo for our guests to relax with a glass of homemade wine.
Our swimming pool and poolside bar are also located in Tenuta Antica Cavalleria.
The dimensions of the pool are; 7 meters x 14 meters.
The pool generally opens around the 15th of April
Changing rooms, toilets and showers are available; there is also a laundry room with a shared washing machine (5 per wash)

Swimming Pool and Poolside Bar

Our swimming pool (7m x 14m) is the perfect place to relax, and soak up the warmth of the Sicilian sunshine, with stunning views of Mount Etna, set in the midst of our olive trees, with various varieties of local plants.
Relax and enjoy a good book, get to know the other guests over a cool Sicilian long drink or just lie back and forget the stress of everyday life and recharge your batteries!

The poolside bar is open from 10.00am – 7.00pm serving delicious salads, home made pasta, a selection of Panini and of course some wonderful Sicilian ice creams, and then finish your snack with a real espresso and why not a small drop of the local Grappa.

Children of all ages can also enjoy the garden of Tenuta Antica Cavalleria: Table tennis, table football, billiards, jeux de boules and there is also an area for badminton and other ball games.
Great fun can be had with the terracotta painting. Make your own designs on local terracotta that will then be a great souvenir to take home (there is a small charge for the packet of terracotta, brushes and paint are supplied)

The picturesque village of Castiglione di Sicilia is 2 km from Tenuta Antica Cavalleria, where you will find a supermarket, Pizzerias, local Restaurants and bars. A and a market every Wednesday.
You will also find an information office, police station, pharmacy and first aid center in the village.

Golf Il Picciolo Golf course 18 holes

The beautiful Il Picciolo golf course is situated at 3km. In Rovitello Castiglione di Sicilia

Alcantara Canyon with its stunning waterfalls and river is situated at 5km

All our guest can use the swimming pool e pool bar in Tenuta Antica Cavalleria. There is a dressing-room , toilet en washing machine ( € 5 per wash )
The pool ( 7 m x 14 m ) will open around April the 15th.

Tobbogan and swing for the children, ping-pong table , barbecue, garden furniture, bar for coffee, ice-cream and small snacks .
